Conflict Resolution
All our tutors have attended the NHS CFSMS Conflict Resolution National Syllabus Familiarisation Seminar and are able to meet the 10 objectives as identified by CFSMS relating to the Conflict Management National Syllabus. Our courses are also accredited by CIEH.
Aims: To enable people to recognise different aspects of conflict that they may encounter and to be able to understand and be aware of the different methods of resolving conflict.

Breakaway
Aims: Provide safe and effective strategies for people who may be faced with challenging or aggressive situations at work, home or in their everyday lives.
Objectives/Outcomes:
- Demonstrate the ability to be able to identify situations when they may be at risk
- Develop prevention measures to avoid and/or minimise the risk of aggression/violence
- Gain insight into appropriate use of techniques
- Demonstrate effective practical intervention techniques
Areas Covered:
- Introduction - background of techniques
- Incident reporting & record keeping (where relevant)
- Legal consideration - minimal / reasonable force
- Techniques to breakaway from various assaults (techniques taught will depend on training needs analysis and designed to meet the needs of the individual and/or organisation i.e. bespoke packages)

Physical interventions/Safe holding
All our training is bespoke and developed to meet the requirements of each individual/organisation.

Physical intervention / Safe Holding: 3 -5 Days Price - £50pp + vat or £400 + vat per group, min 4 - max 16
GSA Tutor course (Train the trainer)
Aims: To enable organisations to be self supporting in the provision of GSA training for their staff.
The three week intensive course provides students with all the necessary skills and competencies to gain tutor status for the GSA, and the relevant qualifications to deliver training within this field of work. The course carries a pass/fail mark and is validated independently by another Senior tutor.

On the successful completion of the course students will then be eligible to attain full membership of the GSA

To comply with national guidance/recommendations all practical courses require an annual update/refresher and theory courses biannual update/refresher
